Action Example Move

Loading video please wait.
This is an example of using the action MOVE. In this example Anna will walk to a set of cone components.

From the Component Library load an Energy Meter and then load the Resource Manager.

Load a pathway components and arrange into a walk way. The pathway components must overlap.

Load the Anna component and place onto the pathway.

From the example category load the “Action Example Move” component.

From the example category load multiple cone components and place them along the walk way.

The simple python script within the “Action Example Move” will find all the components in the world whose name starts with Cone.  It then creates a MOVE action causing Anna to walk to each of the cone components.

Note that when the simulation runs the cones become invisible. There is a python script inside the cones which changes there visibility.

Using the Move action you will be able to simulate your business activities to assess if you can reduce energy bill.

For an explanation of the action argument please refer to the API documentation within the Eco3D Pro training.
