Action Example Board

This demonstrates the board action.

First load an Energy Meter into the 3D world. 

From the InLine category load a Basic Feeder component.

From the Resource Manager category in the Eco3D component library or eCat load the resource manager into the world, followed by two pathway components. Note that the pathway components must overlap.

Then from the Clients category load an inlet component and PnP to the Basic feeder. At the other end of the pathway load an outlet component.

Now load the Forklift component into the world and place on top of the pathway. Then load Anna into the world, make sure that Anna is placed on top of the pathway as well.

Select the Forklift component, from the Param tab click the ConnectOperator button. From the list of available operators select Anna and then click Add. This will move Anna to the connected side of the dialog. Then click close.

Select the Inlet component, set the parameter Operator to Forklift. If the operator parameter is blank the closet available resource will be used to transport the part. In this example we want the forklift to transport the part so we must enter the components name forklift.

When the 3D simulation runs the InLet will request the Forklift to transport and the Forklift will request Anna to board the Forklift. Using the simulation you will be able to calculate your CO2 Emission for the Forklift truck. Then modify the work flow and test within the simulator, if it is possible to reduce ghg emissions.
