Start by loading an Energy Meter into the world from the Eco3D Component Library.

Load and rename a switch to Light_switch. Set the circuit to Lights, End time to 17:30:00 and the Start time to 09:30:00.

Load and rename another switch to Phones_switch, set the circuit to Phones, End time to 17:30:00 and the Start time to 09:30:00.

Load a third switch check the circuit name is Mains and set the End time to 17:30:00 and the Start time to 09:30:00.

Next load the desk component, here in the video we select “Show All” next to Components in the Eco3D eCat and then use the filter to find “Office Desk”.

Load a monitor into the world, after the monitor has loaded select Translate followed by the snap function to snap the monitor to the top of the desk.

Repeat the same procedure for the phone component. After snapping the phone to the desk the phone can be rotated.

Next three lights are positioned above the desk using Translate. This time in the video we demonstrate how to Translate by manually entering values.

The simulation speed is set and the simulation executed. Notice how the phone changes colour to show the different states of consumption as the phone switches between Idle, Ring and Talk states.
At the end we click the meter to see the consumption values for each of the different circuits.
